As an artist, there comes a time when you feel the burning need to tell a story that goes beyond words, beyond melodies—a story that needs to be seen and felt. For me, that moment arrived with "Refugee Boys," a music video that aimed to uncover the soul of Ghana, particularly the lives of the children affected by poverty, resilience, and the relentless pursuit of survival.

The decision to shoot "Refugee Boys" in Malam, Ghana, was not a coincidence. Malam, a vibrant neighborhood, is often overlooked by the rest of the world. But within its streets lie stories of struggle, hope, and resilience that I was determined to capture and share with the world.
From the outset, my vision for the music video was clear—I wanted to depict the raw essence of Ghana, showcasing the lives of the refugee boys who navigate its streets with unwavering determination. These boys are the unsung heroes of their community, facing challenges that many of us can only imagine.

One of the most memorable aspects of shooting "Refugee Boys" was working with individuals from diverse backgrounds, each bringing their unique experiences and talents to the project. From the motorbike riders who and the bodybuilders whose strength mirrored the resilience of the refugee boys, every participant played a crucial role in bringing the video to life.

Throughout the shoot, I was reminded of why people hustle, why they keep pushing forward even when the odds are stacked against them. It's about more than just surviving—it's about providing for loved ones, chasing dreams, and refusing to let circumstances define you.

Ultimately, "Refugee Boys" is more than just a music video—it's a tribute to the resilience of the human spirit, a celebration of the indomitable courage of those who refuse to be defined by their circumstances. Its an ode to the hustlers, the scammers , the forgotten about the Streets , The Refugee Boys!!!
